Bael Goetia Spirit statue

$16.99
An ideal altar or display image of Bael. This statue is made of resin with a faux bronze finish. It stands approximately 4 inches tall by 4 inches across by 3.5 inches deep. This was sculpted according to an illustration in Collin de Plancy's book Dictionnaire Infernal. Bael was said to appear in the forms of man, cat, toad, or combinations thereof. According to the le Grand Grimoire, Bael is the head of the infernal powers. He is also the first demon listed in Wierus' Pseudomonarchia Daemonum. According to Wierus, Bael is first king of Hell with estates in the East. He has three heads: a toad, a man, and a cat. He also speaks in a raucous, but well formed voice, and commands 66 legions. Bael teaches the art of invisibility, and may be the equivalent of Baal. Bael is the first King who is under the power of the East - that being Air with the patron power of Lucifer. This Bael statue is ideal for not only traditional Goetic workings- including those of Michael W. Ford's 'Goetia of Shadows' book but also Canaanite/Ugaritic rituals of Baal.
